Summit Health & Wellness was born from a desire to offer people an alternative nutritious diet customized to one’s needs and likes. At Summit Health & Wellness diversity is welcomed since there are no two people alike.

To achieve optimal health and a state of general well-being it is paramount to approach any health challenge from a perspective that integrates the body-mind-spirit components. The essence of my work is to facilitate self-growth by helping people identify their body-mind-spirit challenges so that they can overcome them with confidence. Only then, will people be able to fully embrace who they are and start living healthier and happier lives.

Customized Meal Plans

Welcome to some delicious homemade dishes, packed with nutrient-dense ingredients. These dishes are part of a wholesome food diet, made easy for individuals with minimal cooking skills and busy lifestyles or schedules. These savoury dishes provide an array of nutrients such as vitamins (A, B, C, D), important minerals (magnesium, calcium, potassium, zinc), proteins (animal and plant-based), carbohydrates, fats and fibre. These ingredients offer a multitude of benefits. For example, fibre is essential for the body's detoxification process, balancing blood sugar and satiety. The proteins offer the essential amino acids which are the building blocks for hormones, enzymes, antibodies and the list goes on. Fats are also important for balanced endocrine and nervous systems. Complex carbohydrates help regulate blood sugar, keep your energy levels up and help you recover after intense work-ups. The vitamins and minerals found in these dishes are essential for vitality and health. The meal plans are customized based on a series of health markers identified during the first assessment session and adjusted as you make progress in your health journey.

What types of services are being offered by Summit Health & Wellness?

Summit Health & Wellness offers complementary services to conventional medicine that can relieve some symptoms and signs associated with various ailments. The services incorporate a customized wholesome food diet based on one’s needs, and Reiki, which is a stress reduction and relaxation technique.

What to expect during a Reiki session?

Having Reiki done on you means that you sit back, relax, and enjoy healing energy flowing through your entire body. People might have different experiences while being exposed to Reiki energy such as a warm or hot sensation in different chakras of the body, seeing colours or images from nature, old memories coming back or unresolved issues with other people, and the list can go on. Every person is unique, and so is the experience when having Reiki done.

How can I start working with you?

First book an online appointment, then download and fill out the proper intake form(s) for the booked service. If you are not sure that this is the right service for you, you can always book a free 15 minutes online session (Free Discovery Call) and we can start from there.

What should I prepare for my initial Health & Wellness session?

When booking a Health & Wellness session please download and fill out the Health & Wellness Assessment Form 1 and 2, and Health & Wellness Personal Information Consent forms before your first appointment. Afterwards, please send the filled-out forms to ann@summithw.ca. One of the first steps towards restoring your health starts with taking the time to fill out the intake forms to your best knowledge.

What should I prepare for my Health & Wellness follow-up session?

Please download and fill out a second Health & Wellness Assessment Form 2 (the Excel spreadsheet). This second assessment will re-evaluate your body systems provided that the nutritional and lifestyle recommendations from the first Health & Wellness session were followed.
